We searched both cl and FB marketplace. I messaged all the options on both. Nada. I'm in LA proper and reefing has become VERY popular here since corona. There may be a bunch on the market in a year when they realize the work load, there aren't much now.

not really.. slow and steady, let the bit do the job, also practice a few holes not on new tank first to get feel for it
Thanks. I'm still throwing around ideas.

I'm a wood worker with a great shop. Got a drill press that would easily do the work and lift system that would hold the tank steady. I think they were branded Vision aquariums. I figured if I can buy the all glass tank for $399. 60x24x24 150g that the manufacturer says is drillable, drill and add center or dual overflows, I MAY have a tank that I won't outgrow, for not a lot of cheddar.. $400 tank plus $150 or $300 for overflows. Still cheaper than SC aquariums 120.
Granted, the silicone isn't black, which I love but still.

Kill my logic please. I really don't know better.

I'm also taking to a few ppl about turn key new systems.

Re:skimmer...recommend octopus hob bh 1000 or 2000 even better ;)

I was just looking at this on brs website and it has horrible reviews but most I saw where older. Have there been changes to it to keep it from overflowing?
I've got a 75 gallon with an FX4, I use an AquaMaxx 1.5 hob skimmer and it works great

A lot of glass tanks have 2 seals. One where the glass connects and a second that goes over that on inside and exterior.
Those look like an exterior thats getting close to the interior seals. Mostly like from scraping the glass.

SWEET SCORE...all included..?? corals,equip?
best advice i can give ,take lots of pics of equip before ,take out 5-6 buckets clean water for coral and fish, save for fish will most likely last out..,bag each coral individual even in wmart bag and bucket them. some how ,wet towel /plastic ,keep rock wet. no opinion on sand. i would throw away.
