Lights came on and looks like the twins got in a fight. This rose that is now attached to the bottom of torch island used to be in the same home hole as the little rainbow.

Since it's accessible, I may be moving it up into anenome corner with the two larger bta's there are some nice holes left.

should not take long with Desi, long as not being bullied ,will be eating out of your hand in no time..;)
So.. I had a good long sit in front of the tank Todayand the only two times I saw the desjardini or yellow tang they were chased immediately back behind the rock by the purple tang, taking tail swipes the whole time. Catch box is in the tank. I'll move the pt out for a while, maybe forever. I have no real connection to the purple tang and would really love a black. All three other things in the big tank are all in subservience mode.

If I'm able to catch it relatively easily, should I move it over into the bow front, leave it in the acclimation box in the DT? It's the only one with a claim to the tank.

Will do. I'll get it acclimating now.

How long have you seen that take? Would it not come back into that tank still knowing?

Is there a trick for using CA glue for attaching? I've got both gel gorilla glue and reef glue and neither one attach well. Even if I put a generous glob and hold the two pieces steadily together for a minute, I still don't get good enough adhesion for the piece not to slide off. What gives?

it makes a thicker film when it hits the water, add a generous amount to your item then twist to break that film once in the water when you put the pieces together - then hold.
