Here's a few vids of the hospital tank inhabitants. Every day I'm seeing slow improvements. .49 copper v Hanna checker this morning.

As feeding a mandarin in a bare bottom tank with no live rock seems kind of impossible, I've thrown together a trial in tank refugium using my acrylic fish trap and a couple square feet of plastic quarter inch netting shoved in. I'll dose pods into this chamber. I'm hoping they will not only reproduce but also slowly trickle out as food. At the end of the day, I don't think it can hurt anything.

I've been super worried about the mandarin in the hospital tank not being able to get enough pods.

I was extremely happy to see this at feeding this morning. He's picking and eating baby brine scrymps!
Glad to see hes eating!!

Thanks. It's a HUGE relief.

He went in a chunky boy, but with a degraded immune system I'm sure. I'll still be dosing pods often, but this makes me hope he is eating enough to support his immune system to help stay healthy.

Looking at the t5 hybrid from aquatic life for the 30"x18" frag tank. This would be my first foray into t5.

Could anybody recommend what bulb combo I would use in this fixture?

Would be running straight t5 for a while.

Two blue plus, coral plus and purple plus is what I am going to run when I drop back to four tubes.
