We reefers can't keep our fins to ourselves! Our hands are salty and wet, and we're messing with wires 24/7. Sometimes, the work is necessary, and sometimes, we just can't stay away...

1 - 2 times a day I check salinity
1 time 2 cup water change
1 time per day blow off all my corals.
Till I get my Doser hooked up (maybe today) 2 - times a day dose N03 and P04
1 per day clean glass
1 per day clean salt creep (not much since I keep on it)
1 per day make sure my ATO is clear of any foreign things.
1 per day change out filter floss.
As you can see, I got time on my hands..

My system is doing really well right now so I try not to look at it for too long and jinx myself lol.

But in all honesty I try not to mess with anything if the system is doing well, other than waterchanges weekly and checking equipment or testing every so often.

I blow off corals a few times a day…and normally mess with the filters cause I feel they aren’t working right. (They are)

maybe once a week or month... urchin takes things to places he should not. Other than that, not really much. There have been (in the past) literal stretches of years where my hands were not in the tank.

May I ask if you are selling coral as a means of income? Thats a lot of work.
Yes, but only twice a year at a local trade show as a side gig. I just like having a lot of coral.

Try to leave it alone as much as possible but invariably some fish or urchin has knocked something over or taken a frag shelf out and that imo needs attention. Especially if some frag has fallen somewhere it should not be! If something gets auto-fragged and is sitting somewhere safe then we will leave it until next maintenance window and mount it if it is worth it.

We've gone past the 'fiddling' stage now and just leave things be unless something is 'at risk'.

Moving aquascape (rare), cleaning sandbed (maybe twice a year) and all that is with water changes which is usually every 3-4 weeks (20-25%). Testing every week or 2 unlesss something has been changing. Right now my alk is down (7) due to doser being out of action for a couple of days a week or so ago so i will be testing alk bi-weekly until it is settled back.

I do like to keep the glass clean so I will do that a couple of times a week but I don't class that as fiddling!
