bought a torch coral and this came out of the coral dip - any ideas?

Looks like a regular bristle worm to me.. How big is your tank? He might be a welcomed member of your CUC

They mainly come out during the night time to feed off of detritus and leftover foods. Just be careful when you move live rock around later on, you do not want those bristles in your fingers.

You most likely have them in your display already but not that size. You can easily make a DIY trap just incase it gets out of control in the future. I say keep him!
