This is my first aquascape, need opinions if this is good? Too much rock? I plan to do mix reef. I left about 2 inches of space from the glass to clean.

Looks great. Can we see a full front, straight ahead shot?

That looks way better than my first aquascape!

One thing I always do when aquascaping is I try to envision what corals will go where, that way I don’t end up with a lot of wasted rock space. Also not sure what size tank you’re doing but keep in mind you don’t want a tank that looks packed with rock because corals need room to grow

In my opinion it looks good! Bare bottom or sand?
Thanks! Sand. Will be adding the rock first.

Thanks! I’ll take a full front shot when I get home in the evening.

I tried to envision the corals with it while keeping in mind of fish since they love caves based on what I read here. The tank size is 3 feet about 60 gallon display. The waterbox marine x 90.3
If you want to, you can add a little island. Doesn't have to be tall or long, just like a single piece of rock. You can put "pest" corals like xenia, gsp, etc on that island.
I was planning to break a small piece or two and place them in the front. Not sure yet but I think it’ll give a complete look.

Looks awesome! what did you use to hold it all together?
Thanks! They’re just stacked right now. I have e Marco mortar delivering today. Just wanted to see if this rockscape is good before I start cementing it since this will be my first reef. Super excited!

Ah awesome! I made the mistake of just stacking and not gluing anything down had some hermits knock it all down almost daily and had to restart everything, good thinking doing it all before hand.

Yeah I don’t feel confident leaving it not glued down. This gives me a peace of mind.

The rock work looks awesome but I would leave more room between the rocks and the sides. If you are successful growing corals your can expect that they will be the size of a softball in a year or two.

Here’s the full front shot. It’s really hard to capture the whole angle showing the spaces around it so I had to take couple pics showing it on my initial post.
