Take a peek as I try my hand at my first ever Aquascape for my new Reefer 350. The Reefer 350 is 47" Long. I plan to do LPS and eventually SPS Corals. Just need some insights into what i created (with the help of my 4 year old Daughter).
Thank you in advance for your advice. All comments are welcome.

Doesn't look like enough rock to me.

Are the tall piles of rock tied together? Whan lps and sps corals get big those will become more likely to tip over.

Hi Ron, thank you for your feedback. I will look at adding some more rocks, at this point nothing is glued or tied together. Just exploring different options at this point. Thanks

Also, recognize that rocksacpes aren't that hard to change in most cases.

The main thing to accomplish is to have a rockscape that you like. ;)

My current tank is a work in progress. But my old 40g tank was kind of unique. I made a rack to set rocks on and created a 'cave' underneath.

Then I spread rocks all over the rack. This is what it looked like at the start.

This is what it looked like a year later. Under the pink branching sps coral is an opening for the fish to get under the rack.

Interesting; do you think this design had a significant influence on coral growth? Assume it impacted flow.

I think because there was just a semi-thin layer of rocks that flow managed to get all around. I had one wavemaker pointed under the egg crate shelf, so there was flow everywhere.

Interesting, never seen anyone do that as yet but then again I'm really a newbie. Looks great though!

Ok... here we go again. 2nd attempt. I got some Caribsea Life Rock Shapes along with the existing rocks I had. Not sure if I like the mix in colors but still playing with the designs. Please disregard the rocks behind the scape. Please let me know what you think about this design? Thanks in advance. IMG_3063.jpeg IMG_3062.jpeg IMG_3060.jpeg
