TM Pro is 57$ on Amazon
For a 200g bucket more like $139.

I also use TM for the clean mixing, and quick too, but a great benefit is that alk is low at about 7.6, so I can raise it exactly to my parameters before the water change.

Also, if you are looking for the bucket, Petco.com has it in stock.
What are you using to raise the alkalinity. I also use this salt and every parameter is good just want to get my alkalinity from 7.3 to 8.2

I have Randy’s recipe #1 on hand for when alk has to be raised.

Whilst TM is good salt, Imcan not justify the price increase, apparently it’s down to shipping but other salts don’t seem to be affected?

The guys that are using IO, if you lower your alk what is the best way to do it?

was thinking of using Seachem acid buffer, would I need to mix the salt fullyor can I add the buffer at the start of mixing

Best to add it before. That will reduce any potential for precipitation and loss of calcium.

That product 9sodium bisulfate) is OK, but you may be able to get it cheaper and/or in higher quality online:

Muriatic acid is also OK.
