I started my 1 million rotifers Friday evening. Today I did a waterchange without harvesting because of a bunch of waste in the bottom of the bucket. Density seems to have grown, tomorrow I will harvest 2/3 of them.

From videos I've seen when people harvest with a sieve, I noticed their rotifers are light brown. Mine appead to be a very dark brown in the sieve. Could that because I let the water get too dirty?

In the pic, I only used the light to show density.

I think its because you have a higher density then they do. Keep that water green so they stay fed.
