Greetings all,

I just got my first Florida Ricordea from the LFS and got it home. I was reading about them attaching to rubble rock and then being able to glue that rock to other rock in my tank.

I turned the Ricordea over and it has this light colored chunk on the bottom... is this already a chunk of rock? Funny thing is I have no idea what the underside of a Ricodea mushroom looks like, and google wasn't any help either. I'm a total n00b here so wanted to ask what I am looking at before I do something stupid :) Thanks!

It's the piece of rock that it's attached too. No rock equals no way to hold it down and ricordea blowing all around your aquarium.
