Hi Everyone,

I saw a very small aiptasia about a month ago on my sand bed so I got a peppermint shrimp to start eating them. I just saw two small aiptasias on my loc line return nozzle which I don’t think my shrimp can get to. I was seeing if y’all had any recommendations for a path forward? Should I try to remove the return nozzle and then bleach or vinegar that?

Using a syringe- Inject into center core with lemon juice or better yet, kalkwasser powder mixed with tank water into a paste the consistency of toothpaste and inject again, into center core of aptasia and it will melt away

Lol I have Aiptasia in my tank about 10x the size of this. I blast them with Aiptasia-X, but they always somehow manage to come back big as ever every week

To answer your question, you don't even need to use any substances to kill it. Just scrape it off.

Just unscrew nozzle super hot water and scrub it off.
That's easy it's the rest that will suck.
And there will be more unfortunately
