First tank in twenty years arrives today!

For those following along and curious, the replacement tank is going to be about 2/3 of the total cost of the system.

Very highly important: you are using the stand recommended by red sea for this tank not a custom stand is that right? Are they leveling and trimming it all for you during the install

Curious to know which stand was selected

Yes, it’s the stand that comes with the (original) tank. I’m assembling but leveling will happen during the installation when the LFS brings the replacement tank.

The replacement tank is being delivered today (by movers hired by my LFS) and I was up all night worrying. I know it’s going to be on them this time if something bad happens, but I’m traumatized from the last time!

As soon as they arrive, I’m going to show them where it goes and then hide out in the back yard with the dog.

I have learned a very valuable lesson today: sometimes it is definitely worth hiring professionals.

Do you still have the broken tank ??? , if so you might be able to find a company to replace the broken glass panels to salvage this one .

I think the front, one side, and bottom would need to be replaced. I can’t even find someone to take it for free! Haha
