Hi all, This was the first time trying this technique out. I used the thin glue from glue masters and ground up rock. I still am going to be reinforcing the joints and I am contemplating on painting the rock with a very water down E-Marco mortar in the pink which is really more purple.

I think the shape is very organic. It reminds me of fresh water macro tanks with driftwood. I would not waste time painting the rock though. Give it time, it will color up.

I like it. If you have some smaller pieces left over I would try to build a few small caves along the bottom and around the lower overhangs. Just glue them on, no mortar. It will provide habitat for the fish and is really easy to do.
