So for last few months I haven't posted any pictures except on my build thread. As I don't have the discipline to do one of the 1 pic per day for a year thing, I will use this thread to post few random shots of fish and corals in my tank as well as in tanks and LFS I visit :)
Appreciate any critique on the pics and feel free to ask any questions about them or to post some pics to keep this thread active.

Thanks.
I use the following:
Nikon D300 and D750
lenses Tamron 17-50 2.8, Nikon 50mm 1.4, Nikon 24-120 F4,
mostly use on camera bounced flash with diffusor for fish shots. coral shots are mostly handheld except for macros with extension tubes where I mostly use tripod.

Are you using a lens filter or just white light or changing the color temp post production?

Very pretty. How big is your hippo tang? 12 years.. he ought to be pretty large!

Was tiny when I got it in 2007 it’s above 10 inch long now but has been gaining on width the more it grows so it looks massive. Still not oversized to the tank so far. He’s the family favorite so not sure what to do in few years.

Something is wrong with your corals....they’re not glowing.

Kidding. Great looking pics. The lineatus wrasse is one of my favorites.

Thanks. Lineatus is one of my favorite from the wrasses in the tank. Tank is pretty much wrass dominated. Will post some pics of the wrasses soon. I had another one in a different tank I have and it jumped out from tiny holes in the screen 4 times. Last time I didn’t find him in time :(

Welcome back to halides
Well I run halides and radions but sometimes also shoot under radions alone. I shout in raw and correct in post processing. Halides I run 14 K so need very little adjustment.
