I am currently thinking about how I am going to redo my my fish room. I currently have a 300 gallon sump, 2 75 gallon frag tanks, a 50 gallon skimmer tank, all to run the 375 gallon display I got. I am thinking about changing the 300 gallon sump to a 150 gallon sump, and instead of 2 75 gallon frag tanks, switching to a 210 gallon tank. I am trying to get some ideas on how the bigger tank peeps do your fish/equipment rooms. I am trying to make a relatively small space ( 1 car garage) the most functional. lets see those fish rooms to give me some ideas! Also, if you have things that you would do over again, what are they?

Do you plan to have the display tank and the supporting equipment (e.g., sump, etc.) in the same room? Also, have you taken a look at the build thread for large tanks here on R2R for inspiration and ideas?

The display is not in the same room. I have went thru so many threads looking for ideas. I have seen some. Which is what has given me the ideas I currently have.

Still a lot of work to do, but the project has begun. 3 DOS will go at the top. Messed up 1 of the holes, but it adds character. Home depot ran out of the hole inserts. So I will have to get some more of those.

Here's my fish room, (garage). It originally took up a bigger footprint, but I saved a TON of space, by putting all of the plumbing on the wall.

That looks amazing! Very well done. What is the size of the display?
Thx, display is about 500. Sump is 125.

Adding a 700 gallon to existing filtration, and going to tie to common sump, and upgrade sump from 125 to 240 gallon.

In-line heather, and chiller, with bead filter as primary mechanical filtration.
