That's a tough choice to make.Any fish can be a model citizen for years then something happens to them and they turn rogue on you.Hope your Regal angel will be a model citizen.I had one for a while and had to take out a few corals that he started to nibble on.

She's already dominant! I got large acclimation boxes for when the tangs are ready for the big tank.

You need few angels also, no tank is complete without an emperor [emoji7]

Oh man yes! I have a few in mind and I would love to have a emperor!

Get a Small One to have better chances with corals, and make sure to make a big cave for him, he will consider it his throne

I appreciate all the input that changed my mind! I would still be dripping! Ha!

Thank you and the firefish is just fine today!

Swimming around with the others. Got the lights on now about to feed a little. So ended up losing the two that came DOA.
I think even if dripping is necessary (maybe the destination tank can not have its salinity changed, for instance) you should always just get a landing spot like a bucket that IS warmed and salinity matched. Then you've more or less removed the "clock" from your drip acclimation.

Went ahead and got most of my tangs. Already have a yellow belly regal so I added these:

Fowleri
Convict
Achilles
Blonde Naso
Clown Tang (yes I know and picked out a little one)

The next biggest fish I bought was a Flame Hawk. Lol! Everything else include dart fish, anthias, cardinals, goby etc.

I will be putting together a wrasse plan for the best order.
love the Fowleri, hope to be getting one soon. My clown tang is still in the sump, I want to reintroduce him, but he was such a terror before LOL glad to hear this all worked out

I've had the US post office hold my shipment in a quarantine room because of a "mysterious fluid" leaking out of a package.
By the time I got to the post office, the box that was clearly labeled "live FISH", was crushed and the fish that I ordered,
was in about 1/2 cup of water!
Happy to say, my watchman Goby is still alive and kicking 5 years later!

My last shipment (Midas blenny, nem, and some trochus snails) was overnighted from Miami to Atlanta... somehow Fedex routed it through New Jersey, Tennessee, and then finally down to Atlanta. The critters were in transit for a little over 72 hours... in February.

I picked them up from the fedex facility and was surprised when I opened the box that everyone was still alive, the heat pack was even still warm! That was a little over a year ago and the fish and nem are still alive, most if not all of the snails too.

Yes, I would love to see a pic of your Fowleri Tang. I've had mine for three days now looking healthy and eating well, little shy
