So im starting to notice below my sandbed tons of different colors, greens, purples, brown etc etc. Wondering if theres a inverts and or fish that can clean it out? I really don't wanna stir the sandbed out of fear of releasing toxics

How old is the tank? Conch’s and starfish do a pretty decent job.

I have a tank that looks the same with the deeper fine sand. I just leave it alone. I have 2 conches. They keep the top of sand almost spotless. The deep sand is all sorts of fancy colors. Lol.

Sea cucumbers will clean the sandbed, but that tank may be too small to support one. I have two in a 220g tank and they are both getting large, over 8 inches so far.

If you decide to go the fish route, a diamond goby is a good choice.

Get both!
Gobies are awesome fish that stir the top portion of the sandbed filtering out algaes and fine particles for food....and get snails that dig deep in the bed stirring up everything else in it serching for food. If you have a fish only tank olive snails are awesome for exactly that! Small conchs also do fantastic jobs too living down there stirring it up.

Would the diamond goby get along with other fish? Bought a purple pseudochromis couple months ago and ended up being the bully of the tank and had to remove it. Since when ive been worried about adding any fish

Fighting conch all day. Every day. Hilarious at times and an absolute work horse. My tank is younger than yours but. He does an amazing job!

Nassarius snails, sand sifting star, even Babylonian snails (often sold as Leopard / zebra nassarius) all work great but honestly the best thing I've found for my sandbed is a baby horseshoe crab! He's about 2 inches and man he puts in work! Cool to watch when he comes out on occasion too.
