Added some Caulerpa racemosa var. peltata and some Caulerpa mexicana tonight! Hoping it starts growing quickly. Unfortunately it did stir the tank up a bit with me adding it in there.

But here are a few pony pics and some others to make up for it!

And for a bonus, here's a different Sygnathid I just started keeping, African Freshwater Pipefish! Currently have just the one, hoping to find some more locally when one of my LFS gets their next shipment. Already weaned him onto frozen mysis and brine, and seems to be competing well, even with the tetras and angelfish he's sharing the tank with. Tank is a bit cloudy from me just removing some dead leaves and the constant debris from botanicals breaking down.

Still continuing to plug away on this setup, and added a few other fun things!

I lost the original Janss' Pipefish (Doryrhamphus janssi) only a few weeks after adding it. Unsure what happened, it was dead one morning. I found a replacement recently, a nice male that had been at the store for a few months, and is now doing great in here, much more active, and greedily eating a variety of frozen foods. Also added a Yellow Multibanded Pipefish (Doryrhamphus pessuliferus) and a mated pair of Bluestripe Pipefish (Doryrhamphus excisus) who seem to be doing just as well, happily feeding on frozen, and all getting along nicely!

I'm really hoping to continue to improve on this system. The snails are slowly knocking back the hair algae, and the seahorses have started showing some breeding behavior! This tank has also inspired me, and when I finish remodeling the last bedroom in the house, I will be setting up another seahorse tank for a different species (probably Hippocampus kuda) as a mangrove lagoon. All my mangroves are outgrowing the sump where they are currently at, and need a larger system where they can grow up towards the ceiling. The black mangroves are well over 2' tall now, and bent over under the 100 gallon tank.

Now for some recent pictures! I added one of the freshwater pipefish (Doryichthys boaja) as well since he's doing so well, and has learned to compete right in the open with the tetras and angelfish, actively eating frozen off the bottom and the water column, and will eventually eat a few NLS pellets as they sink through the water column.

I was trying to get some photos of the multibanded pipefish (Doryrhamphus pessuliferus) this evening, but everyone else wants to photobomb. Thankfully he's doing well, feeding readily on frozen mysis, brine, baby brine, and cyclops. He also tries to get the live ghost shrimp I feed the seahorses, but they are WAY too large for him to consume. Doesn't stop him from chasing them across the whole tank, repeatedly snicking them though!

I love all your fish selection!
What’s this one here?

Masked Goby (Coryphopterus personatus) - honestly one of the best nano gobies you could keep. Hardy, eat everything, peaceful, and live longer than the slightly smaller Trimma and Eviota gobies. Of course my pics aren't great, much prettier in person.
