Picked up 2 new beauties for this tank tonight! Drove to the Michigan State Fair tonight for opening day with the wifey, and figured I'd check out a few of my favorite stores in the area. Ended up bringing home a brunneus fairy wrasse and a royal flasher wrasse for an amazing price!
Went to another LFS today to grab some frozen mysis. Ended up bringing home a pair of azure damsels and an indonesian lubbock's fairy wrasse. Also managed to grab a few pics of the tank and some of the other fish, even the elusive green banded goby. Also haven't seen the helfrichi firefish or the yellow headed jawfish in the last 2 days, so may move all the rocks in a fish seeking journey tomorrow.
Today is a bad news kind of day: I had pretty much completely given up hope on the yellow headed jawfish and the helfrichi showing back up, and then tonight the helfrichi popped out of the rocks. His fins are all torn up, he's skinny, and barely able to move. I easily netted him out, and moved him into a 20 gallon quarantine with just a balloon molly for a tankmate. Hopefully he pulls through, but his odds are pretty low right now.
Overall the tank is doing really well. I ended up having to remove the frogspawn as the clowns beat it to a pulp trying to host it. In good news I did manage to remove a rainbow bubbletip from my 75 gallon, so I moved it over into here for the clowns. Hopefully they figure out it is a perfect host, then I can move some frogspawn back into this setup.
I also seeded the tank with a whole bottle of ARCs pink coralline and a whole bottle of the purple coralline. We will see what happens. All the other corals seem to be doing really well, the Acropora are encrusting wonderfully.
So we ended up moving our yellow watchman goby and tiger pistol shrimp into this setup yesterday. They were moving too much sand in my wife's fluval evo, so figured they may do better in here with a bigger sandbed to work with.
Ended up picking up another gorgeous fairy wrasse for this setup today, Cirrhilabrus katherinae. Hopefully he plays well with the others, or he will be moving into one of the other tanks I have set up. The first pic shows him at the LFS.
Scooped up a mated pair of royal grammas from the LFS today for this setup. Hoping they start breeding soon! I'll hopefully get some pics of them tomorrow, the lights are already out for the evening.
Update: unfortunately the brunneus fairy wrasse and the royal flasher both disappeared. Completely tore the tank apart looking for them, but no sign of them alive or dead.
Picked up a few turbo and trochus snails today, as well as added some new corals from a local reefer, from Blue Thumb Retail Store in Saginaw MI, and from @AquaSD . The tank is looking great!

Grabbed a really nice cleaner shrimp, a trio of astraea snails, and this awesome elegance from a local reefer doing a tank teardown today at an amazing price ($60 for everything)!
Filefish was removed 48 hrs after the elegance was added, as it decided the elegance was delicious. Luckily, it did minimal damage, and the elegance completely recovered.
Cleaner shrimp was dead and being eaten by the anemone the morning after going in the tank. No idea what happened.
Everything else continues to do well! Did a water change today, and snapped a few pics. Usually the corals are more open (the elegance is about 12"x8" fully expanded) but everything was a little angry since I cleaned the tank only 2 hrs before these pics.
