A small update to post since I ordered the tank a moment ago! It should be delivered by the end of february.
Dimensions are 54" x 23" x 26" with a build in overflow and a canopy.

Still some work to do on the stand, I still need to change the top panel on which the tank stands to the dimensions of the aquarium and support the overhang to the floor.

Still debating if I should put the sump in the cabinet or basement.
If it's in de cabinet, should I worry about the wood bending because of the humidity (if I cover the sump)? I can install computerfans inside the cabinet if needed.
I'm still leaning towards a sump in the basement. No evaporation issues, no need for cooling the water in the summer. Only the electricity bill if I have to use an AC return pump

Time for an update!
I've build the sump today, no fancy looking masterpiece, but it wil do the job (hopefully).
I was limited by the small space in the cabinet but aimed for a simple design anyway.
The left chamber will contain a Bubbleking Double cone 180, the right chamber is for the return pump, a red dragon speed 3 50W.
All the probes and 2 heaters sound go in a bracket in the bubble trap.
