Known as popeye also seems infected. If its one eye, likely from a scratch/injury and treatable using maracyn as pictured below. If both eyes, may be infected and treatable with the same. Not contageous

Prazi is a dewormer and will do nothing for this. Be careful what you readGreat omw to get this now. How about prazi? I’ve been reading about erythro too. All I need is Mara?

It says 1 scoop per 5 gallons. So if I have 100 gallons is that 20 scoops?I’m currently using Kanaplex (like you have pictured above) to treat Popeye in a Majestic Angel that sustained an eye injury. So far it’s working pretty well, albeit slowly.
If I feed thru food is the measurements diferent?I’m currently using Kanaplex (like you have pictured above) to treat Popeye in a Majestic Angel that sustained an eye injury. So far it’s working pretty well, albeit slowly.
are you adding to display or qt? I would advise against adding Kanaplex or any meds to the display tank. Always treat in Qt.It says 1 scoop per 5 gallons. So if I have 100 gallons is that 20 scoops?
If you’re going to dose in food, you’ll want to use Seachem Focus. It’s a binding agent that reduces the antibiotic leaching out.If I feed thru food is the measurements diferent?
Is it only the right eye that’s affected? Is the angel still eating? If so, it is likely a minor injury and may heal on its own (but can take a month or so!)Please help. And is this infectious?
Do NOT dose within the food which alone will make the food taste bitter but rather dilute it and pour into path of flow. The vitachem can be added to food Occasionally for stamiina and immunity boostHey my lfs didn’t have it, but they had this
I dosed to DT like lfs advised..but then I read on here that it can kill inverts and corals?!?! If it gets worse, I agree that a treatment of erythromycin in a hospital tank would be the next course of action.
as mentioned, treat in a separate tank. You can transfer water with the kanaplex into a separate tank or rubbermaid type tub and then do water change in the display where inverts areI dosed to DT like lfs advised..but then I read on here that it can kill inverts and corals?!?! Did I just screw up?
