as mentioned, treat in a separate tank. You can transfer water with the kanaplex into a separate tank or rubbermaid type tub and then do water change in the display where inverts are
So take all 100 galllons out? Sorry I’m a little confused

So take all 100 galllons out? Sorry I’m a little confused
25-35% should be sufficient- also remove/discontinue carbon when using kanaplex

Does Maracyn cause the water to get cloudy?

Not usually. It can kill off the beneficial bacteria and you'll see a rise in ammonia though.

If the tank is new, overcrowded or over-fed, the limiting of the bacteria might cause some cloudiness. Most often though, cloudiness is caused by too MANY bacteria in the water.

Thanks Jay, it is a QT, I bought it used, it was a hamster cage for a short time, so I washed it out and put some bleach in it. but who knows. I just going to have to throw the tank away.
