Are those flames a bonded pair? If so, would they work in a 40 gallon breeder?

No bonded pairs. We only have males right now and we actually sold out. Typically, fairy wrasse need a fair amount of swimming room. Personally, I would not keep a large fairy wrasse in a 40 gallon tank.. especially if there are lots of rocks in the aquarium taking up swimming space.
