Floating Pieces in Tank

Currently on day 4 of cycling my biocube. When turning on the wave makers I see all these white pieces floating in the water. I don’t really see sand blowing around so I’m not sure what it is. Any ideas?

It will be very difficult to identity it with the flow, try and stop the wave makers and see if they can be seen in more detail

It seems to mostly stop when I turn them off. I got the fiji pink sand and it may be too fine

I have used Fiji pink for a long time. Even if you rinse it like crazy you will still have some fines that will blow around. Once the sand builds up some bacteria and gunk the fines will settle.
