Hi I have a new tank started about a month ago and tank is cycled with dry rocks and aragonite sand (not live sand) with NSW, had ammonia spike during the second week about 2 ppm and by 3 rd week I got 0 ppm ammonia, low nitrite reading too, so I assumed my tank is cycled and got 1 yellow tail damsel to test its taking feed, diggin tunnels and seems to be happy, now coming to the point, I noticed these white flowery spots on the rock .. looks nice but jus curious to know if these are any kinda critters or jus calcium deposits .. Hope there is somone here who can answer :D
