I love to see a great mixed reef and the movement t just looks gorgeous to me. My red digi and birdsnest are some of my favorite sps because I can watch their polyps move from the flow. I love love love my clove polyps with their vibrant color and movement as well. I think the movement helps tie everything together.

I have a tiny green gonipora. I can't wait until it's a full colony and extended and flowing in the water flow. For now, I love my two sets of hammers, and even my Duncans flow some. I love looking at night to see all the strings of my chalice flowing in the current of the water. IT's amazing to see the length of their strings out swaying in the water column.

I think movement is important to people watching the tank. It's why fish are important. I had a study that showed that the more heavily populated an aquarium was whether with corals, fish or both, and the more movement the tank had, there was a direct tie to the human brain's reduction of depression and improvement of overall mood.

An empty aquarium, vs a partially full aquarium vs. various levels of aquariums were studied and the ones with the most movement between fish and inverts showed dramatic improvements of mood.

I have this crazy translucent sun coral that came as hitch hiker on gulf rock.
Oddly enough it will spread its fingers when flow is just right which happens to coincide with what my shrooms are able to tolerate. Also a very important coral that helps me guage when something is wrong. Has a sweet spot for alk around 8.0-8.5 and let's me know when its slipping or drifting automatically.

I love torch coral from the bottom of my heart.. but lately Goni's are almost as high on the list. So many great new variants, and gotta love those 'tubes' :).

But I also love the look of all sticks, with fish providing the movement.

I have Xenia, Anthelia, GSP, and Duncans. If we are talking about just coral, then my favorite is the Duncan. However, my favorite flowing “thing” would be feather dusters!
