Hello all!! Thanks for all of the insightful information here. I’ve really enjoyed stalking the info on here over the past month or so. Im going to be setting up a new mixed reef soon and am having leaning heavily towards the fluval flex 32.5 marine set up.

My questions right now involve lighting and add ons that would improve the tanks overall performance.

any help would be appreciated

You'll probably want a different light if you want corals that need higher strength lights. I have a smaller fluval flex (15 gallons I think) at my desk.
Another issue is scraping algae off the front glass since it's curved. Algae magnets don't work that well on it so I recommend getting one of those algae scrapers on a stick or what I do is I just reach in with a magic eraser.

Filtration is good and really simple and leaves plenty of room for other media, and at first I didn't know how I'd feel about the bowed glass but it does look really cool head on.
