The LFS is at the end of my street and he had the Flex in stock. I grew up with fresh water aquariums but he convinced me to try a reef tank and the Flex looked amazing! Due to my proximity to the LFS (he popped into my house before he opened to help me set up) I basically used live rock and water from his tank to quick start mine. As I travel for work, I want something pretty low mainetance but fun and appealing for my two year old.
I currently have a few crabs, two clowns, a few differnt types of coral, and picked up a diamond watchman goby to take care of the diatoms. He is a super fun fish!

Got a Fun little Mushroom for the corner and a bunch of snails for clean up. The Snails are more fun to watch then I thought they would be! One of my hermits made a cameo here. My two year old loves these guys.

Added a Shrimp and the Xenia and Leather is growing like crazy. The LFS has a 6 line I may add.

So I bought this superman mushroom and my shrimp immediately ripped him off the rock he was on. Then I superglued him to himself. Mushrooms are slimely little devils that are not a fan of the glue. He them ripped himself off the rock so I got wise and threw him in a rubble cup. He finally attached and then I set him down on the rock and it seems he might make a recovery.

It has been an adventures two months. Took care of a cyano bloom with chemiclean.

It worked like a charm. Had a velvet (I think) epidemic and have been running inverts only for 8 weeks while the tank went fallow. The coral is coming in nicely though and I am happy with how things look.
