I use a frag plug with a magnet and I roll the nori up like a small cigaret then with a small rubber band I wrap the band around the food and the plug stem. I found this keeps nori together and they eat all of it no waste. They even get it from under the band somehow.

The gourmet grazer .... honestly I did not like that one I thought the holes where to small and my fat naso actually hurt her mouth . At least it looked like it after she got bigger and bigger. Now I have 4 tangs and all I do is use the 2 little fishies veggie clip I have several of them ... fold the nori and switch the Inside while holding the magnet on the outside ... quick easy and I can then clean the used one. I feed at least a small sheet twice a day. It’s always eaten pretty instantly. In fact my naso and my Achilles come right up to my hand bagging I can hand feed them as well amd I do when I have the time

I'd love to know! I currently use a typical spring clip with a suction cup on the tank wall and all my stupid tang does is clip it off right at the edge like a scissors and it floats away and gets stuck to a power head. He's such an *******!
I fold it up into a small square. TKes longer to destroy!

1 4”x4” sheet rolled up and rubber banded to a small rock hanging from a cord. I had a real urgent occurrence lately that most would say impossible, but it happened with a loose rubber band in the tank. I posted the occurrence here on R2R, and we had our laughs. My fish was caught and freed without harm. Now, I remove the rock and rubber band when small piece is left underneath. I’ve used the clips but they are able to pull it off.

No clip has worked for me since my fish became full grown. I have a lot of coral so dangling it in there will bash coral branches. I just shred it and throw it in once a day. No matter how many sheets I add, it's gone in minutes... I wish there was a way to just slowly add it through the day automatically.

TLF magnet clip - the one with the big external magnet. Feed three 4x8 sheets most days. It does not last long enough to float off or disintegrate.

That looks like the frenzy in my tank. They seem to tear it off in seconds. I have thought about the big mesh grid and magnet, but I hate staring at it on the side of the tank.

I use the grazer and it works great. Thanks to this feed I now realize I need to add daily. Always learning something new!

I made an algae feeder out of gutter guard and a magnet from an old Korallia. Works very well.

I use the magnetic Two Little Fishies and feed 4x4” sheet every other day cut up into half inch squares, the smaller helps with pieces floating down the overflow.

I throw it in the tank, and if it floats on my water surface for one minute, I'd be surprised. Then, it's like a school of piranhas. That poor sheet of nori didn't stand a chance.

Folding 1/2 sheet into a 1.5 ” square will fix that problem.

I choose “other” but with a clip.
I bought a cheap clip, pulled off the suction cup, and siliconed each half of the clip to some rubble rock.
I put nori in the clip, then set the rock on my sand bed. The rocks hide the clip. That way I’m not staring at plastic.

I cut mine up on a cutting board to about the size of flake food. I cut a whole pack of nori sheets at a time and store it in a zip lock bag. I use a feeding ring so it will eventually sink. I feed nori every day.

This is what I use it's 4" length of 1 1/4" plastic pipe with a magnet epoxy resined in one end and the Nori is wrapped around it and held in place with 3 "O" rings that are 0.5mm thick. Then the pipe is held in place with another short bit of pipe with another magnet in it.
I don't get any Nori floating around the tank and the fish can graze on the Nori which seems more natural than a sheet of Nori wafting about and I find more of my fish eat the Nori from the pipe than from a clip etc.

I use a clip and stick it to the side. I fold my sheet in half a bunch of times until I get a small 2 x 4 inch piece. Then I take that piece, fold it in half and cut it. Fold it in half again and cut it. Fold it half 1 more time, and put it in the clip. At this point only about 1/4 inch of nori is sticking out of the clip, but there are 8 layers of it. I then take the scissors and cut those layers into vertical strips. It ends up being really bushy.

When a tang pulls on it, rather than taking a large piece off, it only takes a small piece off. My tangs are all still babies at this point, 3-4 inches, so they don't take large bites. I'll do much longer strips as they get older.

I add 4 of these every day at the same time, which works out to be about half a sheet. I would like less labor intensive way, so great thread for me.

I like your idea. I might give that a try at some point.
