I have a 150 gal, 4 ft tank. The dimensions are (48x30x24). I’ve been using the aquatic life t5 with 2 Kessil a360x lights. I’ve got three coral blue bulbs and an actinic bulb in the t5.
I was reading par today, just before the t5’s cut on and it was around 50 at the sand and then around 140-150 at the top right hyndophora. Once the t5’s cut on, I had a HUGE jump in par. The sand bed was 100 and the hydnophora was 200-225 bouncing. Would that jump in par be the reason some of my euphyllia are retracting? I have them in low par (50-100) during the time that the t5’s are off, but they have a big jump when they cut on.
I wasn’t sure if I should just go all led and turn them up a little, while using the t5’s for actinic lights vs keeping it as it is.
Any help is appreciated.
Ill attach the light schedule and photos.
