BBC recently featured the Mantis Shrimp on their show "Deadly 60"...That's right the Mantis Shrimp and deadly in the same sentence. Check out the link for some amazing video of these guys in action.

I'm sitting on my hands waiting to move into my new place so I can finish my 46G build and convert my 20G into a tank for a G. smithii. Awesome critters.

They're smart as heck too... I had a small black one that I trained to climb on top of his rock for his food. It also could differentiate between me and other people, it seemed. Like friggin' stranded little aliens... love 'em!

That's a pretty cool video. It also amazed me the amount of zooplankton in those shots.
