Forgot to rinse Purigen and water is a mess

I assume this will settle, right? Water was clear before. Added unrinsed purigen (doh!) and water was a mess. Took it out, rinsed, and put it back in. This should settle and clear, right? Hopefully by tomorrow?

It did seem settled this morning. I'll know for sure once the lights come on and I get home to see it.

I just did the same thing. Got some aquarium water ready then got interrupted. Came back and forgot to rinse. Cloudy as hell now, but will wait a couple of days and see. The shop also never told me I didn't need to also buy "the bag". I cut open the bag it came in and poured into the one I bought. Then afterwards I realised the bag it came in was a mesh bag ...... duuuugh !!
