Hey guys, so after some searching I picked up a beautiful 300g from another reefer. This is a Miracles tank that is 96"×30"×24". It fits beautifully in my new place and I'm super excited to get it up and running but with a fully mature 150g reef that will need to travel 45 minutes from my parents house piece by piece, I will be taking my sweet time. Here's the beginning:

And so it begins...

I had my wife break water with the first pour. Luckily she's just as excited as I am

I see a lot of vertical braces in your stand. Where is your sump going, Basement? Because that looks like a dining room / kitchen on the other side of that wall

Yes the sump is going in an area of my garage which is heated. Eventually I'll close it in. My current tank, which is a 150G cube, will become the sump for this. I haven't 100% figure out the baffle placement but I have somewhat of an idea.

I came across your post about your floor support recently. I was just wondering why you used 2x's as a base for your for jacks instead of cinder blocks. Thanks

No particular reason. Honestly I was about to just put them directly on the cement floor but wood is more flexible and allowed for somewhat of a level ground as the cement in that crawlspace isn't 100% leveled. They really weren't necessary IMO
