Know what it is? It's tiny, about 1/2" across, in the sandbed.

Looks like a type of anemone, a LFS I deal with has a few of anemones that look just like that. Not aiptasia for sure, does it retract into the sand bed real fast? Like really fast? They tried to identify it and could come up with nothing.......Looks cool though

Since it likes the sandbed maybe search for "Heteractis aurora." Good luck!

thats a very interesting sand/tube anemone. dont get rid of it. it should stay where it is.....and maybe they might become *rare* one day like ryzos...lol ;)

but yeah, i looked on the marine depot forum and that one guy said it was a cerianthid.......and there is NO WAY that is a cerianthid, not even close!! that much i was sure of...lol
