Found something growing on my Lobo

Found a purple growth on my Lobos skeleton, would really appreciate some help identifying it and if I should get rid of it or keep it. I’ve had the coral about 7 months. It’s one that survived a weekend my AC went out and my house temp went to 90F and killed a few of my corals and some didn’t completely die but haven’t bounced back
