Picked up a frag tank from a buddy and wanted to have somewhere to stash the broken sps from the large tangs in the 650 gallon. We already have the 650 gallon and a 50 cube running (nems and zoas mostly) I decided to tie the frag tank to the cube. 2 reasons for this decision. 1st under a 2x2 footprint, just not enough room for a decent skimmer, ato, etc. 2nd to increase the water volume.
At first the plan was to add onto the existing stand and raise the cube. Quickly determined that would be too much work. So off to doing the stands separate, to move in the future. I've been meaning to reskin the cube to match the 650. So the task began.
The frag tank is 4x2x13, running a 40 breeder sump, way overkill varios 8, regal 150sss. Ato and doser to go under the cube and all plumbing tie back to the frag.
Lighting is still TBT.
