    Hey gang

Been getting request for smaller colonies... which to me means frags... LOL i understand colonies are harder to implement into your reefs, so looking for suggestions. I have no problem making 5 "colonies" from one and charging much less... Example:
This is 2 small tenuis "colonies". Not frags, but not quite mini colonies (IMO).
Im open to any suggestions, comments etc! Im here to provide what I can, so any info is greatly appreciated!

From what I have seen here in central NY those look to me to be mini colonies. Frags are usually one stalk of sps or a head or two of lps a couple polyps of zoas.

yea. Im very generous on my frags, as its time consuming cutting little pieces all the time. Id rather chunks. They also seem to do much better in bigger pieces. Im just seeing if there is a market for these types of pieces. :)

I only purchase larger colonies but the ones you show are good. I don’t need 6 -8 inch peices( we all know sometimes they don’t make it and losing a $250 coral hurts) but I also never buy the 1 stick frag. My tank just does not grow corals fast so that 2-4 inch colony is great.

OK. so it seems like the colonies may be to big for most. Which is fine! Making smaller pieces but keeping the colony look isn't to hard!
    Thanks guys!

What you have pictured looks like a nice frag that I would purchase. A lot of the frags I get tho are a few polyps and I enjoy that watching them grow. But nice little mini colonies or why you have there would be a nice addition.

    Hello
I actually prefer both...Colonies and Mini Multi-branched Colonies, as you have in this pic. I think both are great. I'm very interested in seeing what you have available.
    Do you have a website
