free tank for new reefer on a budget.

just thought i should post a free tank up for grabs to any new reefers who may be short on cash or just coming out of college get a budget build started for cheap.
tank has a 2-3 noticeable scratches and a couple small ones here and there but its free! pickup in nassau county long island has to be gone quick or off to the recycling.

Heya buddy! I don’t live in the US but I’m a new reefer, and currently out of work (laid off). If you have any equipment spare, cheap I can pay for shipping! Would help me out so so much

i also made doors but never installed, i will see if its already dumped though. moving right now so a bit all over

nope only the tank, stand and plumbing everything else was a tank transfer to this (still setting it up)

why Don’t you keep it for a frag tank or quarantine or if you get no takers , clean it up and donate it to a school or children’s hospital? Just a thought !!!

my friends leaking reefer 200 or 170 (gotta check) is being replaced by red sea for the new g2 so im going to reseal the red sea either as a frag tank or sell it as i may not have any space. still mid move and figuring everything out

Why, was there something wrong with the old ones (that most folks seem very pleased with)?
yes the floating glass panel of the red sea 170 to 200 was a point of failure in a few red sea tanks, so the new "armored seams" (i think it just means extra silicone?) should help and no more floating front panel i think
