Referring to the coral next to my duster. I’ve seen the whole thing close up like a big polyp...but maybe a shroom?

Depending what kind of mushroom it is, it could get MASSIVE. I personally had one that was 3-4 inches across and my LFS has one now that is at least 12" across.
