So I am still moderately new to reefing, but i got a QPS5 power head by coral box but i was wondering what mode, frequency and Flow I should use the tank i placed this one in is a 15 gallon fluval flex i repurposed from an old freshwater tank i dismantled before. I am trying to set up a good pulse setup for hammer and torch corals but i don't know if high frequency means occurs more often or if its how many seconds before the next cycle and the flow is pretty obvious but just wanted opinions since the max flow on it is 20 so I am trying to get opinions from others to help assist me for these corals please and thank you! I can also post a photo of the tank so you all can give me an opinions on where and what direction to face the power head if you would like that too.

In a smaller tank, think about directing the flow up to the surface which will help gas exchange and possibly create a bit of a wave action. Your euphylia corals would sway in this

pics always help :)

So here is the picture of the tank the torch in front left and the hammer are a little stressed from me messing with the powerhead settings a little bit. I set the frequency on a pulse mode at 10 and the flow at 1 because even this seems high.

Looks nice, is that a riteri anemone?
Give them some time to adapt. As long as they are not directly in the flow path they should do ok
