Freshwater dip royal gramma and firefish

Hey I need to freshwater dip a royal gramma and firefish are they ok being dipped? I had them in quarantine for a month due to flat worms and they're getting better I just wanna make sure that if any worms are on them, they can be weeded out with the dip. I would like thoughts and opinions
