Has anyone ever thawed out a cube of frozen mysis shrimp and it was grey but after it thawed out it turned green like this?

San Francisco’s bay

I've purchased that brand on three separate occasions. My fish will NOT eat it. I've even mixed it with their favorite brands, and they will not eat anything that was in the same JAR with it.

Idk why my fish are nuts for Hikari, but hikari has always been fresh, and has some basic vitamin supplements to help with fish health.

I think fish health is extremely important, much like everyone else. I also believe fish health has a great deal to do with what they eat. Because of this, I like to give a HUGE varied diet. I always try new foods.

As for foods, here's what I do: In a clean jar, I put:
- 2-3 cubes of Hikari Spirulina Brine
- 2-3 cubes of Hikari Mysis
- 6-8 Scoops of BRS Reef Chili (fish love it mixed in with foods)
A small chunk of Rods Fish Eggs
1ml Selcon
1/2 - 1pump Selco Boost
1-2 drops AquaForest FishV

Sometimes
- Mix all the above with Mastik

Here's optional stuff I throw in now and again
- 2-3 cubes of V20 Spirulina Mysis & brine (with krill)
- A small chunk of OVA Oyster Eggs
- A small chunk of Rods food

These last ones are only thrown in now and again because my fish seem to get tired of them..

That "Jar" I make tends to last 3 days average, after around 3 days I've found any mixture that has these following ingredients the fish seem to not chase down with gusto. I've thought it had to do with it spoiling quicker, but I've found after feeding fresh for a few days in a row, I get the same response which is lower interest in eating.

My fish and Duncan coral will eat that stuff like they can't get enough. Reef plankton, mysis and krill.

I'm glad! I really wanted to try their eggs but after trying at least 5 different items from SFB, I've given up!
