Well turned out a 50/50 on the days.... Fri and Sat were very nice days, Mon and Tue not even close. Got home today and the tank looks good except for a few aiptasia I had to hit with kalk.

Rain all day here Monday. Glad the tank survived vacation. Pesky aiptasia... glad I haven't had to deal with that.

Yes it is a PITA and can spread like crazy too. I have been hitting them with kalk paste whenever I see them. I need to get a file fish or some peppermint shrimps.

Berghia nudibranchs. They eat exclusively on aiptasia, and when they eat all of them they don't turn and eat your corals. Here's one place that sells them.

Only thing with them is once the aiptasia is gone they starve, unless you can catch them and give them to someone else. I had thought of them but I'm not sure. All the aip. I find are mostly very small except for a couple larger ones that I think might be where the small ones came from.

I have a monster that showed up out of nowhere I pickup RS aptasia-X anyone have luck with it? or is it over priced Kalk? BTW how do you us kalk on those little buggers
