If I was dosing close to even, that would be true. But, right now #2 is being dosed 2x as much as #1 & #3 just to try and maintain.... We'll see what happens in a couple weeks. I was more concerned with getting #1 but I will use all of these now so I don't have to worry about having to redo the dosing. The new Pro changes dosing completely and goes from 3 part to 2. Not sure how they expect a tank that uses 1/2 as much mag as cal to use a mixed # 2&3.

We lost our Chocolate Lab also. It still hurts but try to concentrate on the good memories in you heart. We have a sign in our home that says "Heaven is where you get to see all the dogs you've ever loved". I'm sorry for the pain you are feeling.I can honestly say, today sux.....

Did a 20 gal water change completely out of my sump
Had to pump 5 gallons up to the tank but it was so much easier than lugging everything upstairs

I like pulling water from the tank and filling the sump simulataneously. I really dont know if I would have the nerve to do the basement. A fish room would be necessary, or the tank in the basement.

Haven't tested since last Saturday so decided to today. Here's the numbers
dkH - 7.84
PO4 - .061
Ca - 470
Mg - 1480
pH - 8.2
NO3 - ~50
Salinity - 1.0255
Nothing surprising but do need to fix PO4 and NO3. Lowered dosing on Ca and Mg and raise Alk. We'll see what Sunday looks like.
