This is my 40 gallon, about 6 months old. Slowly coming together. Looks sad compared to the others in this thread.

It should look like that. My first tank was bare at 6 Months but the parameters were good. Over the years, the tank has been great.

The 75 Gallon I posted was moved in 7/15/2017 from another gentleman's home. It was an upgrade from a 32 Gallon and had several months to go through a mini cycle. It is looking fair at this point. It should be good in about a year or so.

Yours looks like a good start. keep it up. go slow and be patient.

We all started there. I've always said "slow is better than fast and crash!"

Give it a year, you'll see! :)
