Really clean looking setup!
It’s actually amazing what dedicating some time and zip ties can do. I am meeting with a contractor client of mine this week to see what he can do about building me a cabinet and board to display.
I read all about these not being enough and I almost feel like it’s too much in my 200 for the XR15. My parameters all are right in line, I moved all my rock from my old EVO into the new setup, didn’t use the old sand and my frogspawn were huge the first couple of days. I am running the AB+ spectrum and I’m running the acclimation mode with 18 days left in it and only up to about 39%. It seems like a whole lot of light now at 39% and my corals just aren’t happy. My frogspawn are really looking bad. Almost looks like the flesh are receding now. I’m afraid I’m going to loose two beautiful frogspawn. What am I missing here?
I can tell you I also run my lights on the AB+ spectrum and have had great luck so far with my corals. It has only been a short amount of time so we will see. I did just add 2 hammer corals and I did go ahead and move the one because I felt it wasn’t opening as much due to the light. For me at this point I am sticking with the XR15 as I intend to primarily focus on softies and LPS, if I ever move into SPS than I would consider the XR30 or XR15. Did you think about moving around your frogspawn, may help, but I am no expert. Best of luck.
