Great build !!!!!

Thanks!

Testing my ability to epoxy rocks together lol.

I have never used epoxy for anything let alone attaching rocks.

Using super glue to hold while they set. Rock on the end is offering support for them as well.

Tomorrow will secure with more than super glue. But the shape is at least formed.

Finished epoxy on the connections. Was a lot easier with them already secured with super glue. And the acceleration spray made that part a breeze.

Still have to figure out how to make this stand where i want it. [emoji23]
I ran out of branch rock. In freshwater with driftwood i used slate and nylon screws. But driftwood is like 10x lighter.

Hopefully when i move the fiji rock will interconnect at my desired height.

I am tempted to buy a 3d scanner and do this on a computer.

Temporary sump.

So i think im going to buy a sump after all. But i have to wait on that purchase.

Turning this 15g for the time being into the sump.

Skimmer is going in the middle. Was easier to do this way with the size of the sock holder.

Fuge will be in the first compartment with the sock.

Future sump will be eshopps r100. Or if splurge amethyst trigger.

Using this 15g made the temporary sump free.

If you're interested, look into the Trigger Crystal 30. Just picked on up for my 40 breeder and love it. And it'll fit in that nice stand you just got. Have you water tested it yet? I am reluctant to put mine together until you come back with the water pressure results ;) lol

No doing all the plumbing now. Bought a spare heater to make the switch easier.

Do have 8, 5 gallon buckets of rodi made up though [emoji23]

Had a fun night saturday when i came home to find my siphon failed on my eshopps hob. That was awesome!

Glad my ato is only 2 gallons lol

A few pieces of bubble algae in my sump detached and wedged in my return pump. All in all about 3 gallons of water ended up on my floor. The bamboo floor looks fine after i laid down towels and put a fan on it.

Leak tested the sump, small leak from compartment 1 to compartment 2.
Adding more silicone.

Took my aqueon water changer i havent used in 4 years out. Will wet test Friday. Should make this easier as it fills and drains with a flip of a valve. If holds will add sand and salt water.

Btw if dont have one a scale makes mixing salt a breeze.

Nice. I also use a scale. My mix calls for a half cup which is 120g, but it really takes 132g for me to get to 35 SG. Scale makes it easy.

EDIT: I just checked my notes. A half cup is 140g and it takes 152g to get to 35 SG.
