Will do, got home a little later than intended so not going back out for any fittings i dont have lol. This might have to wait for tomorrow to fully setup. Was debating between the trigger and the eshopps r200.

This looked easier to clean lol.

Definitely going to be a lot more volume over the diy 15g i was using.

I should have measured both pumps together [emoji23] the reactor pump might be plumbed outside the tank.


Its taller, might have to rethink how the kessil is mounted over the fuge. Might still work with gooseneck .

Also found 2 pom pom crabs in the rock rubble, can they breed in the aquarium or did 2 really survive the trip down the overflow? Lol. 2 inch bristle worm also in the sump besides the little orange ones.

Day one progress, its in the cabinet [emoji23]

Pay no attention to the plumbing as nothing is permanent yet. Both pumps do fit. Not sure if the manifold pump is going in the tank yet though.

Anyone who owns a trigger 26 and a cobalt heater, where did you put it?

Had to order more plumbing parts for the time being through some 1 inch silicone tubing so it all lined up

Ok it got late, sump up and running with the return on 30% normally run around 60% but without a gate valve installed a bit loud, still have the wavemakers running on a higher more frequent surge to compensate.

Only other equipment running is the skimmer which i fully cleaned so is kinda breaking in and the heater which i laid flat in the return section.
Also have the ato/aws hooked up this was a matter of just replacing the feed lines and sensors.

Will take a picture tomorrow when i get up.

Incoming are new gate valves and a few fittings . Removing most of the threaded fittings, why this is taking a bit longer.

So....
Was on making my 6 month frozen food purchase.

Somehow came home with a radiant wrasse.

Hes a little upset from the ride home hes going in an observation tank till eating then will qt. Also picked up focus and metroplex as mine had expired without ever using [emoji23].

But since this isnt the easiest fish to get eating.
Picked from the fish market near me, lobster roe, already had a culture of brine going for baby brine, also trying hikari krill to add to the food rotation of hikari coral gumbo and lrs.

Also discovered my yellow coral banded shrimp i added months ago is still alive. Havent seen it, theres a shed on the sand bed. Havent seen it since i added it lol.

Added a yuma mushroom, still not adding any hard corals yet, parameters have been stable and there is nothing off on my last ati test. But id rather start stocking corals after the easy ones thrive.

Emergency drain will get done later this week. Right now just a silicone tube entering the sump.

And its been silenced. Dont know why but i hate skimmers and overflow silencing. And anyone who says a dc pump makes this easier is lying [emoji23]

Found an open box kessil controller for the fuge.

Also started cycling some more rock to slightly change my scape.

Ok so off today.

Plans:
-Finish the manifold for the reactors. Btw purigen needs a bag in a reactor dont just out inside. It will leave. Lesson learned.
-did a 3% pwc will do another one later.
-buy co2 for planted tank.
-clean skimmer.
-setup raspberry pi to film tank. Wont control anything but, i have all the required items to do it lol

Sad post.
So this morning before my lights came on changed out my filter sock. Left to dry on top of towel. About 15 minutes later turned inside out. And found my radiant wrasse inside.

So she is still alive but, just barely. Currently have her in my sump so closer to my protein skimmer for more O2. But shes breathing very heavily and not really moving. Crossing my fingers

That is a huge bummer. Hoping for a miracle for her.
