Thank you, normally i look as my clowns hang out by the overflow but i saw both of them and had seen all my fish a little before lights out last night. Guess it made the leap just before they went out after i looked

Still chugging along. Condition unchanged.
In other news to get my mind off the fish
had added this a few days ago as one of 2 test stony corals. Other is a no name acro that doesn’t photograph well where i put it, at least with my phone. Together they cost me $20.
This is a short tentacle tonga gold torch.
Acro i picked by the one with the most encrusted plug not looks but is sea foam green and light red.

Ok so since the death of this fish wasn’t related to overall care but a fish deciding to go down my overflow i ordered another one.
This time through liveaquaria i also added a diversden coral instead of paying for shipping. This is actually my first experience with delivery of a fish. Did free myself from work till 7pm that i can leave when delivered so not outside for more than a few minutes.
Perks to being boss.
Setup a qt to the same parameters as the California facility so only need to temp acclimate.
Same type of coral, forgot to take ss of the actual coral i ordered.

Arived healthy and well packaged.

Ordered a 15g container for my awc and will hard plumb the drain outside.
Still dont have room for a larger ro/di fill container but its a start [emoji23]

Ok havent posted a ffts in awhile.
Most of the algae is gone from the doser mishap several months ago.
Moved some rocks around so its anything that falls out is in the middle of the tank. Will do another gravel vac tomorrow.
Nitrate varies between 1-2ppm only
Phosphate pretty steady at .07(was 6ppm when i did the first icp test [emoji23])

So what i have decided on for salt water storage. Will have to redesign the cabinet for this, little taller than i thought it was lol.
But at 15g will hold 30% of the aquarium volume instead of my current 5g bucket solution. When we finally close on new house will make a mixing station so no longer have to fill with buckets but not room for that in the bathroom where ro/di is currently plumbed.

But tank update.
Alkalinity consumption has surpassed my 1 gallon a day water change. So turned my doser back on.
Starting very low. 5ml of each of the ati essentials. Will test alkalinity again tomorrow and readjust. This is the 1/3 the recommend starting dose as i am also doing the aws in conjunction.
The bonsai has fully encrusted its plug. Hard to tell on the others.

Ok so there was a 12% par reduction which was to be expected.
The added bulk to the prime is not terrible. My corals havent really changed their pe in the slightest adding it
