Yeah, I figured they would be sold, but had to try. I just found this site and thread. Starting to hunt for a gem tang. My high school mascot was a zebra, so I thought that would be a great fish to add to the tank as well.

If anyone knows of a gem tang or zebra tang for sale, let me know. I have a 400 gallon home for them.

Aquatouch in Phoenix has one in their lagoon display for a while that is for sale.

I’m not a big fan of Gem Tangs but the lined one is very cool.

can someone tell me why this gem tang is $3k? looks just like a common gem tang to me

Prices are down to 280 I’ve seen as recently as 2 days ago for the gems

Yeah - today normal price is 250 - 450 depending on source and if they pass a arrive alive or other money back guarantees.

As far as the breeding goes - no idea. Yellows seem to be norm one would think these behave similar but....that is me assuming.

@WWC also when I saw this I was like - wow, necro a thread. But on thread topic you still had a fair price. At that time it wasn't uncommon to see them 4k.
